This is a song I wrote in Cameroon, a country in West Africa after reading a New York Times article on our senses, perception, and presence.

"We think of a key, each in our prison, thinking of key confirms the prison" is a line from T.S. Eliot's The Wasteland.

The song is sung in a style similar to Santo Diame hymns.
